Buffalo can give us a tip or two on how to throw a concert.
How's FREE sound?
How about 'BEER - 2 for 5 bucks'?
How about a big serving of Sam Roberts Rock Band with a giant dalop of Matt Mays and some El Torpedo on the side?
The Canadian Rock Invasion we could call that.
The crowd were totally awed by both bands - I heard "Who ARE these guys?" many times from new fans.
Two of the most rockin' live acts in Canada today played steadily and heavily into the summer night, solidifying music relations with our Southern neighbours.
To finish it all off, both bands shared the stage together like life-long friends, and played Hot Metal for the grand finale.
A Big Thanks to the people of Buffalo for the fabulous free show. You treated us like family. We also were quite happy with the young ladies who kept the crowd happy with an acoustic set while our boys cleared the border.
