Finally we got to see Shaker again.
We have been listening to the recording we made of them in Thorold 2005.07.02 all through our holidays, and we really, really like it.
Dynamite is one of my favourites.
I think they have very good song writing capabilities, yet the success that is coming their way seems to be taking them by surprise.
They have been in Pennsylvania for the past few weeks, nailing their first CD, so watch for it.
The McMaster students seemed quite enthused about Shaker too. There were hundreds of 'em. Maybe even a couple of thousand were there, waving their arms in the cool night air.
And then Sammy came on.
One strong set with No Sleep and Don't Walk Away Eileen for the encore.
