The backdrop of a warm night with a big moon reflecting across Lake Ontario was made even more perfect as The Trews made their way across the colourfully-lit peaked stage. Still beaming from the time when the Stones closed for them, Colin, John-Angus, Jack & Sean played many of their new songs from Den of Thieves, along some of the old rockers fom House of Ill Fame.

Special treat: Colin amazed us with some keyboards.

Another treat was Rocketface. Great little 3-man rock band whose lead singer is the drummer, so it's unusual and refreshing to see the drums physically at the front of the stage.

And then there was BullMoose, a fantastic local band who started the whole thing off in the first place. They were so good we went out to see them at the local pub at the end of the show.
